KOTR Rod Trip
Kinship of the Rope Road Trips
Every Month @ Seneca Rocks/Nelson Rocks
The moment you tie in, you become part of a community formed over time by
generations of climbers just like you. We are all standing on the shoulders of those who
came before us, and while all of our courses reflect those values, the Kinship of
the Rope Road Trips are our way to keep that spirit of community alive. Sign up alone,
with a partner or with a group of friends.
It's a climbing course, it's a meet-up, it's an adventure. These events are designed
to help climbers meet each other, gain skills, and get mileage on the rock.
Includes 2 full days of guided climbing, camping at our creek-side campground,
2 breakfasts and dinner in our legendary outdoor kitchen, and an optional
Rock Rescue Seminar on Friday night at 6 pm.
Cost: $395
This is our most economical course which reflects $280 savings and includes food.

#1 FAQ: HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE
DO I NEED FOR A ROAD TRIP?
After 35+ years of teaching multi-pitch rock climbing at Seneca Rocks, we can cater to any experience level. We know what you need to learn and can create a custom curriculum based on your climbing experience and goals.
First Ascents Speaker Series:
Eddie Begoon
JUNE 10,2023 | 6:30pm | Free
Princess Snowbird Campground Pavilion
The First Ascents Speaker Series is a celebration of the pioneering spirit of the
climbers who gave us amazing routes to climb. By giving them an opportunity to
share their adventures with us, we keep the history of Seneca alive.
A few years before the pandemic we were lucky enough to start our annual
First Ascents Speaker Series with John Christian, who put up 'Green Wall' in 1956.
The following year we were joined by Hunt Prothro, perhaps the most prolific
climber of his generation who's memories of those times are unparalleled.
You've probably heard Eddie Begoon's name associated with his legendary climbs
at New River Gorge. What you might not know is that Eddie honed his skills
at Seneca Rocks and the cliffs of the North Fork Valley.
Join us for a slideshow of Eddie's adventures at Seneca Rocks, Nelson Rocks,
Champe Rocks, and other lesser known crags of this area, followed by a Q&A with Eddie.
Food will be provided before the event! More details below.
